One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
The last remaining of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, the great pyramids of Giza, are perhaps the most famous structures in history. For thousands of years these massive monuments continue to amaze and enthrall us with their overwhelming perfection. The pyramids of Giza were royal tombs built for three different pharaohs. The three primary pyramids on the Giza were built over the span of three generations by Cheops, his son and grandson.
Students of grade 6 classes were inquisitive learners this year. They showed an amazing sense of curiosity to explore and learn about Egyptian Pyramids, their history and how they were built. They applied what they have learned about pyramids in class and converted them to creative models. They worked individually to show their innovation and talent in extraordinary productions. Amazing layouts and models were displayed reflecting students’ acquisition and knowledge of the material studied. Well done all!
